BEST PHOTOGRAPHER
IN ATLANTA

That was the ridiculous title of my 2015 Craigslist ad. Who knew that such a mockable listing would take me around the world to shoot hundreds of commercial properties for brands like IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott. I spent 5 years as an amateur, working on my craft and gaining the experience I needed to take the plunge into full-time. Music festivals helped me learn to improvise and capture beautiful moments as they happen, in adverse conditions and difficult lighting. Landscapes taught me HDR and compositing techniques. Sunsets showed me patience. Portraits allowed me to connect with people and understand how to work together. In commercial photography it’s important to be versatile and willing to improvise. I’m in this industry to be challenged and take on difficult creative endeavors. Am I the best photographer in Atlanta? I certainly don’t think so, but I’m learning a hell of a lot while trying to be.
Writing an ‘about me’ is a bit strange to me. As if you can sum up an entire person in a paragraph. I hope that my photos speak for themselves. If what I do is what you need, then perhaps we’ll get the opportunity to meet. That’s when the ‘abouts’ begin.
